3Tables and images not up to par in Kindle version
By Luna Black
While I love the portability of this as a Kindle version, the images and tables are pixelized and sometimes the first letter is missing. While this will take some involved re-working of the charts and pictures in this, I really wish they would fix it. Having to guess the first letter on the first column of the examples gets frustrating.

The book itself is very well written and great for beginners. My complaint is specific to the Kindle version.

5Take a Look at the Reviews for Third Edition
By On a Journey
I support a fairly large SAS community in the private sector. I always recommend this book, but it isn't for everyone. I always recommend the most current version too. Maybe those reviewing this text at such a low level expected more detailed coverage. If you are a documentation junkie with considerable IT background, then go to the SAS site and read the documentation or purchase the course notes. The Little SAS Book is a series of short articles that hit all topics for a new SAS user. Many new SAS users have limited computing skills, e.g., Word and Excel, and our plunging into advanced statistics courses. The book is written in a folksy kind of style which might turn off some readers. If you have strong IT skills and now supporting statisticians that know SAS, then this book will aid in the conversation.
