Better than expected

Just opened up the case and did a thorough inspection and I like what I see (and feel). The fit is nice --- not too tight for my ASUS UL30Vt-X1, and it's easy to slip in and out. There are three different textures to this case. There's a sort of stretchy nylon that covers most of the case, then a sort of cardboard neoprene flap, then a soft fabric-ey interior to keep my laptop nice and tucked in. I like it. Pretty good exterior pocket for extra accessories. Personally I'm not going to carry anything in this pocket other than folders or pens, but that is fine for me. It's the kind of sleeve that will work great at conferences or events when I don't want to lug around my entire messenger bag and just carry a laptop, a pad, pens and a mobile phone.

For my last laptop, I had a pure neoprene sleeve that fit snugly over the entire machine, requiring a zipper to close. I like this better.

The only thing I'd change is for the flap to secure somehow --- magnet, Velcro or snap. In fact, I might sew on some Velcro myself. I would've given it five stars if it had this feature.

Overall good features

Bought this and was pretty happy about the purchase. Like the other users have pointed out, there are two different types of materials. The front cover has a velvet feel and the rest of the sleeve has a mesh-like material. Things to note: the sleeve comes with a magnetic cover which is rather weak (took me a while to notice it), the velvet portion of the sleeve gets dirty easier and attracts a lot of dust.

Overall, it is well made though the sleeve should include a better locking mechanism. Looks professional and stylish at the same time!

nothing but comments since i got this product. very attractive and fits perfectly for 13 inch laptops. very slick and great quality. i'd compare it to Kenneth Cole leather goods.
