The RL-302 laptop rucksack is designed for professionals/executives on the go. The backpack will organize, store and protect all your equipment, as well as your traveling gear. To meet your ever-changing day-to-day travel routines 2 storage options are available: A padded laptop shoulder bag is integrated in the TST protected mid section of the rucksack allowing for quick & immediate removal when necessary (for instance airport security checks). This bag can be used as an independent laptop case. When removed from the rucksack the width can be easily reduced using the buckle and strap adjustment system. A laptop slot is available inside the rear compartment. Large front and rear padded compartments with organizer panels will hold folders, paperwork, laptop accessories and much more. Numerous designated pockets throughout, will hold all your personal effects such as mobile phone, PDA, PM3/4 player, etc. Specifically designed features include a quick access pocket for Wallet and passport, and a zip-up mesh water bottle pouch. The harness system will ensure ultimate weight distribution, and when not in use will fold out of the way and allow the connection of the Insertrolley for easy roll-along transportation.

Kata bag is best laptop bag I've owned

Bought the bag after seeing one a co-worker bought as did another co-worker. I thought I'd never find an replacement for my Port bag. This is the only bag that you can see to the bottom without a flashlight due to the yellow interior. Design, construction and materials are excellent. It will accomodate 2 laptops. A 17" laptop will fit in the center compartment by removing the sleeve although you will lose weather protection and will have less padding but it is reasonably padded due to location in the middle of the bag. I just completed a business trip to Israel and it was easy to travel with. It has a pocket for MP3 player that is on top and close when pulling the bag from underneath the seat. The InsertTrolley pocket fit my suitcase trolley fine so I did not need a separate one. The water bottle pocket even stuffs away and zips up.

Best Bag I have Ever Owned!

Although not the cheapest bag I have ever bought it certainly is the best. The quality of materials is great, the bright interior with many pockets is great, the "hidden" water bottle pocket is great, shoulder pads are comfortable even with a heavy load. In fact, this bag can carry more that I normally want to handle but it doesn't feel too large so that also is great! The inter trolley system to carry on a suitcase handle is great for travel, the carry handles are great, the ability to "just fit" my 17" MBP into the separately removable laptop satchel is a bonus since it only says it can carry a 15" laptop.

The only thing I would really like to have seen is on the removable laptop satchel bag is an extra pocket for cords & accessories if you want to only take this and leave the main bag behind. This isn't really an issue though because I can get many hours of use on the MBP battery.

By now I'm sure you get the point that I think this bag is great and that I think you should buy one if you need a quality bag that will last for years to come; you would be correct!
