RAM upgtrade for Lenovo netbook4
This was an upgrade for my wife's netbook. I am a computer power user, my desktop and laptop (both Dell) are loaded with HD space and RAM. My wife has the little netbook for her casual, light use. But, even that light use needed more RAM. The standard 1GB of RAM allowed the computer to bog down when running MS Office and MS Word at the same time.

But, by switching out the 1GB of RAM and replacing in with a 2 GB of RAM that seemed to do the trick. The computer's systems flow better, just switching between 2 programs is easy and quick. The fifty something price tag was worth the expense.

The process of switching the 2 products was easy and anyone can accomplish it with a small screw driver in just minutes.

Forgot it in was in there5
Haven't gotten any errors came in good packaging, I didn't notice any extra heat being generated, the extra memory makes it run smoother. I often find myself pushing it harder then intended.

Careful what size RAM you order or it may not work1
Perhaps I didn't read close enough before ordering but I was dissapointed to find that my 2GB upgrade for my Lenovo IdeaPad S10 was not recognized by my system. Later as a read more closely I discovered that my original system had 1 GB already soldered into the motherboard and as such the maximum it would accept as add-on memory was 1GB even though the materials lead you to believe that it would use as much of the add-on RAM possible to reach it's 2GB limit. I ended up ordering a 1GB add-on and that worked perfectly. Again from the materials I'm led to believe that if my system has started with only 500MB instead of 1GB that the original 2GB add-on would have worked just fine.
